The Tilma of Tepeyec Tour
By Kenneth Boone, District 2 Master Our
Lady of Guadalupe Province

The
Tilma of Tepeyec Tour co-sponsored by the Knights of Columbus
made its stop in the Archdiocese of San Antonio 12-14 September 2003
at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Over 83
Fourth Degree Sir Knights of Our Lady of Guadalupe Province, District
Two, participated as Honor Guards in the initial ceremony, masses,
rosaries and veneration of this sacred relic. Over 22,000 pilgrims
came to venerate the relic and the Fourth Degree Sir Knights were definitely
a dignified and visible presence during this solemn but inspiring occasion.
As Master of the District, I was proud of the Sir Knights who participated
in this
landmark Tilma of Tepeyec Tour in service to the Church and in support
of the Order of the Knights of Columbus.
